Rachel Bloom is a comedian/actress from the US.
She was born in LA on April 03, 1987. There’s not much interesting info in regards to her earlier life, so we’re just going to skip ahead. In 2010, Rachel released the music video called “Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury”. It went on to be nominated for a 2011 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation. She did become an overnight sensation, but it took her a couple more years and various hilarious songs to get actually popular.
Four years later, Rachel’s latest brainchild, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, was picked up by The CW network. The series quickly got incredibly successful, receiving critical acclaim with critics singling out Bloom’s performance and calling it “perfect”.
Rachel has a documented history of psychiatric issues, including nervousness, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Rachel’s life-long struggle obviously bled into Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, making the show even more earnest and realistic.
Despite not really being conventionally attractive, Bloom became the unlikely sex symbol for this generation.
